What is an Information Worker?

 

An Information Worker is one who creates, stores, recalls, processes, and manages information and electronically collaborates with others when developing and/or using stored information.  Information, in this context, is all electronically retrievable data, documents, Web content, spreadsheets, images, and so on that Information Workers create, gather, and process while performing their job duties, whether it is internal or external to their corporate environment.
